Marianela Palacios Ramsbott

Marianela Palacios Ramsbott graduated Summa Cum Laude in Social Communication at Universidad Catolica Andrés Bello, and holds a Master’s in Political Science by Universidad Simón Bolívar, also in Caracas. She got diplomas on negotiations and trade by Universidad de Santiago de Chile and Ulacex. She won the National Prize for Economic Journalism from the Forum of Journalists of Panama in 2010, and served as advisor to the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Panama (2014-2017). She writes for the Intelligence Unit of The Economist, Caracas Chronicles, Cambio16, Cinco8, El Estímulo and Zignox.
